Red Stag Hunting

Even if this specie is quite popular in Center and East Europe, we have in Spain a Big Population of Red Stag.

For hunters who are looking for a Big Trophy, we recommend to hunt in a Fenced Area.

It is important to understand that the fenced areas where we can arrange a hunting like that have a huge surface in Spain, and the Red Stags are living in very good conditions, not far away than the natural conditions in Open Range, and the main part of them has even a huge hunting ground than their cousin in Center or East Europe.

It is not usual in Spain to measure the trophies by the weight of the skull, what we use as normally is to take a “Green Measure” in CIC points.

This system is very close to a standard measure and gives us a measure of the trophy equal or lowerthan the measure by Kilo of the horns.

Never the less, it is of course possible to take the weight of the skull in order to have an idea close to the European system.

We use to hunt trophies between 180 to 200 CIC points, sometimes even higher….

The Trip

We will assist you in Madrid Airport on the clearing of your weapon, pick you up personally and be at your disposal at any time. Transfer to the Hotel located at 1,30h to the Madrid Airport in our private car.

The Hunting Area is only at 45 minutes from the Hotel.

As always, a rifle test is necessary. We will make the necessary checks before the hunt. We use to do that on the Ground to make sure the rifle is accurate.

If you don´t bring your rifle we have several ones perfectly optimized for this hunt with good scopes at very good zeroing.

We work with Leica Geovid binoculars with a Ballistic chart in order to know the drop of the bullet anytime.

We recommended you seriously to use our own rifles in order to make your Trip more easy and comfortable.

On day 1, after breakfast, at 8h00, we will start hunting.

We move to the mountain in 4×4 and we start spotting the areas where the Red Stag use to be.

Depending on the chances we can have and the conditions of the day, the hunting can takes only a few hours, or whole day.

80% of the hunters take the sizes as trophy that they are looking for. We never shot trophies below the minimum size expected by the hunter.

On day 2, if the Trophy has not been taken the first day, we have the same program.

The last day we move to the Airport. We will personally support you on the gun clearance, with the documents and taxes already prepared in advance.

For those you are interested in hunting the Red Stag in Driven Hunt. We are specialist in organizing Driven Hunting Monteria where you can hunt 4 nice Trophies of Red Deer in 2 days with other Big Games. We estimate a parade in 2 days of 220 animals between 25 guns. This monteria will take place in November. Driven Hunt Monteria Moncayo.

In case this date do not suit you, we still have a few places left for the Driven Hunt Monteria Oropesa, which will take place in February 2019.
