Hunting Fallow Deer in Spain is a priviledge. This specie is quite popular more than any other place, in East Europe. Never the less, we have in Spain a Big Population of this beautiful deer.
For hunters who are looking for a Big Trophy of Fallow Deer, we recommend to go to a Fenced Area.
In Spain fenced areas where we can arrange this hunting has a huge surface, and the Fallow Deer are living in very good conditions, no longer than a natural conditions in Open Range. The main parts of those animals even have a huge hunting ground than their cousins in East Europe.
It is not usual in Spain to measure the trophies by the weight of the skull. What we use as normally is to take a “Green Measure” in CIC points.

This system is very close to a standard measure and gives us a measure of the trophy equal or lower than the measure of the Kilos of the horns.
Never the less, it is of course possible to take the weight of the skull in order to have an idea close to the European system.
We use to hunt trophies between 175 to 190 CIC points, sometimes even higher.
Depending on the dates chosen, It is possible a to combine with other Spanish Specie like a Iberain Mouflon.

The Trip
Depending on the sizes of the Trophy and of the dates you want to hunt we will organize the hunt in one part of Spain or other.
We will assist you in Madrid or Malaga Airport for the clearing of your weapon, pick you up personally and be at your disposal at any time.
We will transfer in my private car to the Hotel located at 1,30h to the Madrid Airport o 1h from Malaga Airport.
The Hunting Area is only at 45 minutes from the Hotel in both cases.
As always, a rifle test is necessary, so we will make the necessary checks before the hunt on the Ground to make sure the rifle is accurate.
If you don´t bring your rifle we have several ones perfectly optimized for this hunting with good scopes at very good zeroing. We seriously recommended you to use our own rifles in order to make your Trip more easy and comfortable.
We use Leica Geovid binoculars with a Ballistic chart in order to know the drop of the bullet anytime.
It is possible to combine this Fallow Deer hunting with a European Mouflon Hunt (under request)
On day 1, after breakfast, at 8h00, we will start hunting.
We move to the mountains in 4×4 and we start spotting the best areas where the Fallow Deer use to feed and stand.
The hunting can takes only a few hours, or whole day, depending of the conditions of the day and the chances we can have.
80% of the hunters take the sizes as trophy that they are looking for. We never shot trophies below the minimum size expected by the hunter.
On day 2, in case we did not take the trophy on the first day, we will have the same program.
The last day we move to the Airport where I will support you personally on the gun clearance.
